The Rockingham Bird Club (RBC) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and we’re collecting the best bird memories from community members. We invite you to share a few sentences describing your most memorable bird encounter or observation, including what, when, where, and why it was special. To be included, the memory must be from the last 50 years and take place in Rockingham County, featuring one species (which can include multiple birds). You define what makes it your “best” bird memory.
